Hello and welcome to my homepage..I was a dog lover before I got cats. I grew up with dogs and cats that I have met were not nice..but one day in 1986..a friend's cat had kittens and they needed a home. I was not interested in a kitten at all.But my friend persisted that I take a kitten home and if I still didn't want him, I could bring him back..That night, as I lay down to go to sleep , this litten kitten climbed up to my neck and laid himself across my neckand promptly fell asleep...that was it!!! I have fallen in love with this kitten. He grew up to be a big beautiful Maine Coon with a sweet personality and so playful. He grew to be 10 yrs and got cancer and liver disease..He passed on Feb.9, 1997.. He is sorely missed..I have other cats..7 at the moment..Kitty who I acquired from my son, Kitty is black with white markings , he is a Tuxedo cat..Shadow also is from my son..Shadow is all blackHeidi..I got from my brother in law whose boss is a jerk who was going to kill the kittens his cat had. Heidi is a tortoise shellwho is such a sweetheart except she hates the vet and will hiss and growl.Tara is Heidi's littermate ,Tara is a brown tabby, and will hide from everyone.Poppie is orange and white with and expression that makes him look angry but he is a loving affectionate cat. I rescued him from the shelterwhen a relative of mine dumped him there. Angel is a Calico of white, tan and gray markings. She was found lying by the roadside by my husbandwho picked her up and brought her to the vet. Angel survived a hit and run with hardly any injuries.Snowball is all white, given to me by an internet friend. This friend found Snowball all alone and took him home but she couldn't keep him becauseher other cats would not accept him. So I offer to take him after my friend tried to find available no kill shelter and other places.I had another cat Patches.. who passed on Aug.19, 1997 of liver disease and cancer. I am heartbroken and still mourn their deaths.
